About the "Balloon Release:"

Having just arrived to Nevada in July, I was exploring the area and pointed my car towards two white domes near Truckee Meadows College.  I arrived to find the National Weather Service.  A tour of the facility in July was timed to see one of the twice daily weather balloon releases.  It was educational and I signed up for the "Sky Warn" weather spotter program.
